Cela Hospital
To meet today’s healthcare challenges, aging medical facilities require a new approach. To this end, Promed carried out a comprehensive upgrade program at Angola’s CELA Hospital, a facility dating from colonial times. Promed renovated and expanded the existing hospital, almost doubling its size and more than doubling its number of hospital beds.
Promed experts handled every aspect of the project including construction, equipment supply and installation. Promed also carried out comprehensive staff training, provided hospital management and oversaw the commissioning of the renewed facility. All this was done without impeding the hospital’s ongoing work.
The result: Cela Hospital was transformed into a state-of-the-art healthcare center, bringing a new level of medical care to the entire region.
